STATEMENT OF MISSION
The mission of the Spring Valley Police Department is to serve the needs of the community. We do this by working together in partnership with Citizens and
Organizations in creative ways toward solutions to contemporary problems related to crime, fear of crime, social and physical disorder, and neighborhood decay,
in order to enhance the highest quality of life. Included in this community/police partnership is a commitment to the:
Protection of constitutional guarantees of our democracy and the safeguarding of individual freedoms.
Protection of life, property and prevention of crime.
Fair and equal enforcement of the law.
Maintenance of public order and safe resolution to conflicts.
Facilitating the safe and orderly movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Providing emergency services that are responsive to the needs of the community.
The Spring Valley Police Department is dedicated to providing a highly professional police service, which is predictable in its standards, yet flexible in its response to the needs of individuals and the Community.
