Community Policing

The Spring Valley Police Department is committed to a community policing philosophy.   Officers are
eager to respond to what citizens in the Spring Valley Community feel are the most critical areas of
Law Enforcement need.  We want to hear what you the Citizens of our Community feel about issues
such as: fear of crime, traffic control, quality of life, and controlled substances.  Your Police
Department will tailor its efforts to reduce crime and enhance quality of life based on the information
provided to us by the citizens.  One of many ways you can voice your opinion is to take our
Community Public Safety Survey or email Chief Burgess.  As always you can call the Police Department
at 778-5678 and discuss matter directly with an Officer.  Response is conducted through foot patrol,
partnership building and problem solving.
